Submissions Are Open For The 8th Annual MidPoint Music Festival!

The music starts here. MPMF focuses on helping emerging artists gain quality exposure by showcasing them to a dedicated and passionate audience. The festival also attracts established artists, including such 2008 MPMF performers as Robert Pollard, Mates of State, Why?, Jukebox The Ghost, Felice Brothers, Ha Ha Tonka, Spectrum, Radio 4, The Sadies, AA Bondy, Backyard Tire Fire and Oh My God.

It’s a new year, and there’s increased momentum for MidPoint Music Festival returning to the downtown Cincinnati area September 24-26. MPMF2009 is expanding with several new stages to keep up with the growing festival audience and the increasing quality of submissions. MPMF09 intends to showcase the most performances in our eight-year history!

Planned expansion of our region’s most celebrated independent music festival also includes partnership with Fountain Squares Summer Series, Garfield Suites Hotel as MPMF Headquarters with special overnight hotel packages, multiple independent record label showcases and the return of the MidPoint Music Conference!

Musicians and performing artists, make yourselves heard! Prepare three (3) original songs for consideration and submit electronically by clicking here or SonicBids link below. Early submission deadline is April 17, 2009. In order to be considered your submission must be received by the final submission deadline on May 1, 2009.
